Is San Blas safe?
Sailing and water sports carry inherent risks. Your captain chooses routes and activities according to weather, sea conditions and local permissions, and may change the plan for safety. Before booking, tell us about your group and ask which boat, equipment and onboard arrangements suit your needs. Children must be supervised by the adults in their group. Nomad Sailors is a Panama-based charter company operating in San Blas (Guna Yala).
How do I get to San Blas?
A sailing trip from Panama City usually involves a road transfer in a 4×4 and a water-taxi connection to the boat. A private flight may be an option depending on aircraft availability, landing arrangements, weather and the embarkation point. Confirm pickup, baggage limits, every connection and return travel before booking. Transport is quoted separately; flight time alone is not the full transfer time.
Can we request revisions?
Tell us your preferred dates, boat, duration and activities before confirmation; changes depend on availability and the agreed conditions. During the charter, the captain may adjust the route or activities for safety and conditions. If the contracted boat cannot be used, we offer a boat of equal or better quality, subject to availability. If you do not accept the alternative, we refund the money paid for the charter. Read the current booking, payment and cancellation terms before confirming.
